This page is an online gallery of a selection of the fish spearing decoys,  hand carved by  Blaine and Craig Kimmel.   Our decorative fish decoys are elaborately carved  with species likeness in mind.  We pride ourselves on the extreme realism achieved in our carvings and the recognition that we have received as a consequence.

The term decoy is not a misnomer, though our fish decoys are decorative, they are properly weighted with lead and do swim as well as any working fish spearing decoy made.   We keep a small stock of fish decoys, but we prefer to create custom one of a kind original decoys upon your request.  We do not mass produce fish decoys, each one is unlike any other that we have made.   Virtually all of the decoys below have won ribbons in the Great Lakes Fish Decoy Association and at other carving competitions.
